Seminar held in Helsinki, Finland (2006), Copenhagen,
Denmark (2007), and Madrid, Spain (2008). The

Superior Edge is an NMU-wide program will expand your
overall education and guides participants at their own pace and
under their own plan to become civically involved and
knowledgeable citizens.
Major Changes As of Fall 2007
- Almost all College of Business courses changed to four
credits.
- The business core has changed.
- The former CIS concentrations of Help Desk Management,
Software Development, and Systems Analysis have been replaced
with two new ones - End User Training and Web Applications
Development.
- Familiarize yourself with them. You can
download descriptions of the new programs for read the
latest
NMU Bulletin.
- You may graduate under either the NMU Bulletin in effect
when you started at NMU, or the NMU Bulletin in effect when you
graduate.
- Talk to your advisor to see if it is better for you to stay
with the current program, or switch to the new curriculum.
- Some courses have been dropped:
- CIS255 has been dropped, CIS351 has been added.
- IS120 has had a name change to CIS100
- CIS212 has been added as an advanced Excel and Access
software training course
