Transfer Students

Transfer students from other institutions process their application through the NMU Admissions Office which handles transfer credits for course equivalencies. The College of Business cannot override decisions by the University Transfer Credit Evaluators except for business and technology courses.

Due to the large variation in computing courses, many transfer credits need to be evaluated on an individual basis by a CIS faculty member. So, don't be discouraged if the NMU transfer evaluation looks like you aren't receiving credits for computing classes. Bring your course syllabus and course description to a CIS faculty advisor, or contact them via email (see Professors Pages in menu)
